Mama Bear friends: A friend of mine experienced serious tragedy this weekend with the loss of her 3 year old Granddaughter. (Anyone's worst nightmare and your prayers would be very appreciated) They believe she was bit (bitten?) by a tick who was a carrier of Rocky Mountain spotted Fever. Never saw the tick, and within days she passed away.
WIth summer here and all the fun adventures in the woods and through the grass, I feel this awful heaviness about protecting Maren bec ... ause no matter what state you live in, mosquito and tick bites can be incredibly dangerous to your little kiddo's body. I'm equally hesitant about chemicals on her so I've been doing some research about how to keep her protected.
